Sweet as Candy |Murasakibara x Worker!Reader

You regretted agreeing to work at this festival. Who in their right mind would agree? You obviously. Yes, you agreed to put up with bratty kids, moody teens and parents choosing to spend this time doing romantic activities, not having to worry about their children. They were someone else's problem for the duration of this festival. 

Despite your disdain to working at the festival gave you quite some time to watch the many people attending. The strange teenage couple with their friend tagging along, looking extremely uncomfortable. Groups of children running around amazed by the array of lights and fantastic colours and the adults running after them, yelling at them to slow down. You opted to not look at the parents who were taking a romantic stroll, going from booth to booth. You came to the decision to stop looking at them when you accidently caught a pair of adults in an incredibly heated lip lock. Despite that being a horrific sight, they were still having more fun than you. 

You were working at the cotton candy booth. A booth you believed would be more popular than it had been. So far, you only had five people come up to the booth and out of those five you had sold three. Two of which were bought by couples who spent about ten minutes debating who would pay only to come to the conclusion that they would go halves. Couples were deathly irritating with their pointless bickering and you had to remain there with a fake smile upon your face. Working at your booth reminded you why you usually opted to forgo going outside. 

You were snapped out of your thoughts by the presence of people at your booth. A rather petite girl and a tall blue haired male. 

"Yo... (Y/N). I want two cotton candies." he ordered, wrapping his arm around the female beside him.

"Kay" You were silently freaking out,  because you were two more sold towards your goal of ten being sold tonight.

You turned around to get their cotton candy. Fortunately you had two already prepared, a product of your absolute boredom. You turned back to hand them their cotton candy and became extremely embarrassed to catch them in an extremely passionate kiss. You could have sworn you saw Daiki touching her breast, but you couldn't be sure as they broke apart once they saw you were quite aware of their actions. Money was quickly paid and the sweet treat was handed over. 

As they walked away you couldn't  help but think about how much Daiki had changed since Teiko. The jerky, pervert had  changed into perfect boyfriend material for the beautiful girl next to him. Well, he hasn't lost his love for huge breasts, but he doesn't notice when she is around. His girlfriend, Kate, was a sweet Australian girl who he met when she was over here for a school trip. They started out as friends, but slowly became serious about their feelings for each other. The distance between them was became too much and she decided to take a year long exchange over here. She is now studying for her last year of high school at Touou with Daiki. 

Despite your hatred towards couples you couldn't help but be jealous of what they have. You wish you could have something like that. A sigh fell from your lips. 

"What's wrong (Y/N)?" a voice came out of no where, startling you. 

"... Oh! Tatsuya! Nothing's wrong, I was just thinking" You replied. 

"Okay, so can we get some cotton candy?" He asked, gesturing to the giant behind him "Murasakibara wants some" 

"Hi Saki!" You greeted your friend "how many would you like?" Knowing him and his appetite, he would want many.

Murasakibara said nothing, only holding up five fingers. You nodded and turned to get him his treat. suddenly a pair of hands appeared, "I want to help (Y/N)-chin" 

You nodded, a blush gracing your cheeks and continued to get the sugar on the stick. The job was done quickly and Murasakibara paid. 

"(Y/N)-chin, have some" you didn't have much time to oppose as he shoved some cotton candy in your mouth. "Now, you are as sweet as candy, (Y/N)-chin. I wonder if you taste as sweet as candy" 

You didn't know what to do, but as soon as your mind had processed what he said a pair of lips graced yours. Your hand immediately went to cup his face and his did the same. As you pulled away you couldn't say anything. You were shocked, he kissed you. Your crush and close friend, kissed you. Your face reddened and you quickly stepped back. "hmmm... (Y/N)-chin tasted really sweet" he then turned and walked away. 

You were still shocked, unable to move. A small buzz snapped you out of your shock and you checked your phone.
