“I-I’ll marry Akashi” You spit out, your voice strained and a resonance of defeat is present.

*Time skip*

Living with Akashi was surprisingly natural. Everyday you both would wake up, eat a breakfast and travel to work each day. And he was incredibly sweet. Randomly leaving roses on your bed and making sure he spends time with you each night. You didn't sleep in the same bed yet, but the way your relationship was going, he would be very soon.

*Flashback*

Last night, after a movie you both were watching had finished, he saw you fell asleep on the love seat you both were sharing and carried you to bed. You had woken up halfway down the hallway and simply snuggled into him further, resulting in a husky chuckle coming from him. He then placed you on your bed, tucked you in and kissed you on the forehead. “Good night, (Your first name)”. You sleepily replied with “Night Sei”.

*Present time*

“I apologise for the inconvenience of calling you all here today. This won’t be very long. I thought all my workers should now of my upcoming nuptials to (Your full name).” Was all he could get out before the stampede of staff rushed to congratulate Seijuro and yourself.

After the herd had been tamed he spoke again “We will be out of the office from lunchtime today to start our preparations. I expect the same amount of work to be done as if we were in the office. If you take advantage of the fact I'm not here, your employment will be terminated.”

Everyone then hurried off to do their work, in fear of their boss.

Seijuro then turned to you “Shall we go now? I've booked the appointment for the florist and the cake place today.” Yes, Sei (a cute nickname you gave him) was into wedding planning. Who knew? He hasn't proposed yet, but with both your parents buzzing like flies around you guys, you both came to an agreement that wedding preparations should happen immediately.

“yes, what flowers do you think would suit our wedding?” You ask him

“I'm not sure. I like the elegance of white roses, but they are overused. We should see what they have when we get there.”

As you both headed out of the office, he intertwined his hand with yours. You immediately began to blush, but you didn’t pull your hand away.

“(your name), we have two hours before our appointments, would you like to go out for lunch?” Akashi proposed, snapping you from your revoir.

You both were seated at the table in the corner, providing some extra intimacy, despite the already intimate vibe of the restaurant.

“(Your name), I know you’re not totally in the blue about this and I know this whole situation has dealt you a bad hand of cards, but you've taken it in stride. To agree to marry someone, for their sake and the sake of their parents. It’s amazing. I know I won’t be the best husband, but I will try to treat you like you're worth. Will you marry me?” He asked, getting onto one knee and holding up a ring that is incredibly beautiful. It’s a silver classic engagement ring, with one gem in the middle. A perfectly ordinary ring the suited your tastes to a T.

From the look on his face to the incredibly sweet words that fell from his tongue, there was only one answer for you to say.

“Yes” You say, entranced by his eyes. Your gazes never left each others as he slid the ring onto your finger.
